Campaign to buy Audio System is Launched at Namugongo
Uganda Martyrs Shrine Development Foundation, a body that foresees the development of Uganda Martyrs Shrine, has launched a campaign to raise Euros 136,578 to buy a first class public address system for Martyrs' Day Celebrations.
Uganda Martyrs Shrine Development Foundation, a body that foresees the development of Uganda Martyrs Shrine, has launched a campaign to raise Euros 136,578 (over Ushs. 500m) to buy a first class public address system for Martyrs' Day Celebrations.\r\nThe campaign was launched by the Archbishop of Kampala and Patron of the Foundation, His Grace Dr. Cyprian Kizito Lwanga on Sunday, September 25, 2011 at Namugongo.\r\nTo support this campaign, one will be required to buy a raffle ticket at Ushs. 1,000 per ticket. The more tickets one buys, the more he/she supports the campaign and the more chances of winning.\r\nTickets will be available in all Parishes, selected schools, bookshops and hotels all over Uganda effective October 15, 2011.\r\nAt the launch of the campaign, the Foundation Chairman, Mr. John K.W. Matovu said that their target is to have the system installed before next Martyrs Day, June 3, 2012.\r\nThis campaign will run from October 2011 to March 2012.
