Following the charism of St. Don Bosco as their founder constituted, their main charism is devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and adoration to the Eucharist.

The pilgrims are accompanied by Rev. Fr. Paul Luseno Khanyongi, SDB, a Salesian of Don Bosco from Don Bosco Mission, Korr, Marsabit County, Kenya.

They came to Namugongo to pray through the intercession of the Uganda Martyrs, to strengthen their devotion to Mary Help of Christians and to renew their faith.

May Mary Help of Christians and the Uganda Martyrs intercede for them.
